work on a "real" export to PDF

Printing to PDF from the presentation preview is nice, but doesn't work for everybody. Little known facts: PDFs can be set to open in full screen mode and can have page transitions. Why not add a little PDF option to the "Export" button under each presentation that takes advantage of these features?

    Status: completed

We've released this feature under the Export button in the Presentation Library. In the editor there is also the ability to Print to PDF.

able to export to many different formats.

    Status: completed

You can now export to the SlideRocket Portable Presentation on a PC or a Mac. This will generate an .exe file on your hard drive that you can then use however you like, while still preserving full SlideRocket fidelity. There is also the new Export to PDF feature. Please note this is a premium feature.

    HD resolutions

Most of my work is 16x9 and HD resolutions, any plan of bringing this level of presentations to SlideRocket?

    Status: completed

This is possible today. Here are the steps:
    1. Open a presentation
    2. Click on File > Presentation Settings > Resolution > Slide aspect ratio: 16:9
    3. Click OK

You can also set the aspect ratio per slide when creating slides in the slide library. These options can be found in the right dialog.

Email newsletter should not have a black background!

I am a slide rocket subscriber and fan, but every time I try to forward your email newsletters to my team, I have to reformat the email because you use a black background. I know it looks cool, but function should be ahead of form in this case especially if you want to remove barriers and make it... more

Thanks for your feedback! We do use a black or dark colored header in our emails, but the remainder is white. Let us know if you are still having problems.

    have a student plan

I think students should have free plan, but prove that they go to school.
    The plan should include:
    Group work
    Publishing
    Web meetings
    Offline access
    Stats

    Status: completed

    Hi there,

While we do not have a specific plan for students, we recently announced a plan for K-12 educators that would allow an entire school to get full-featured SlideRocket accounts at a massive discount. More here: http://www.sliderocket.com/blog/2009/06/sliderocket-for-education/

For those of you who are in college and beyond, we're working now on our pricing for higher education, and we will definitely take this feedback into account.

Please tell your teachers and professors about SlideRocket, and have them call and find out what is possible for your schools!! I am marking this as completed, as hopefully all the students out there can send their teachers to our education plan, which would give you all of the above and more.

    post url for individual invitations

I do not want to send the invitation email through SlideRocket. I would prefer to see the url associated with an individual invitation, and be able to copy and paste it into my own email in Outlook along with some other related information.

So, there would be a "Copy to Clipboard" func... more

There are a couple of ways you can do this today, although you do need to have purchased a Business Account in order to use our statistics function (more info on our plans here: (http://www.sliderocket.com/product/pricing.html).

If you want every invitation to be individualized, the way to do this is to send the invitation to yourself and then use that link (which will be unique to that invitation) to the appropriate party. You would send yourself as many invitations as you want unique URLs. You can then track those statistics through the invite history, and they will be tied to each of those URLs. You would have to make note of which URL went to which company, as the invitations would show as all going to you.

However, just by publishing the presentation and sending out that public URL (which you could also password protect if you wanted to), you can access detailed statistics for each view, which theoretically would get you to the same goal. The restrictions here are that the stats would not be rolled up per company, but each view would be broken out, and that if we cannot get any more information than the IP address, we would not be able to show you the company/viewer name.

In any case, with the business plan you can do this today, although we recognize it is a bit of a workaround. Please let me know if you have any questions!

    offline support on mac

    that would be great man

    Status: completed

The offline support SlideRocket currently has is our Desktop presenter, which allows you to cache your presentations and present regardless of an internet connection. It will work on Windows, Mac and Linux. You can download it here: http://www.sliderocket.com/product/desktop_presenter.html. It is part of our paid plans, so you will need to purchase a SlideRocket subscription if you haven't already.

In terms of expanding this to an offline editor, that is on the roadmap, but is not currently available to anyone. I am going to mark this completed, as you currently have access to all the offline support we have. Thanks!

    Recycle Bin

Add a recycle bin for accidently deleted slides, assets, etc. This is critical because assets can accidently be deleted causing them to be removed from presentations they are exist in!

    Status: completed

We have been hard at work on this - look for it in an upcoming release.

spacebar/arrow key support during presenting like powerpoint

i would like to have spacebar and/or arrow key support to go on in slide when i'm presenting, just li

    Status: completed

You can do this today in both our online and offline player. There are, however, a couple of exceptions. If you are online, you cannot use arrow keys/space bar if you are in full-screen mode. It will work, however, if you are not. In the offline player, you can use these keys in any mode. Please let us know if you are having trouble with this feature.

    IP address reporting

We love the app but it can not yet tell us where the viewers are from as the IP reporting does not seem to work. Would love to have that corrected soon.

    Status: completed

We did have an issue with this earlier, but all should be good now. Any limitations on what you can see in our statistics are beyond our control. Thanks!

when published: show first slide image not sliderocket logo

the user actually doestn know what the presentation is about, mostly the first powerpoint slide tells us what is the content, so we need it as starting image for the published version!

    Status: completed

We now show a transparent bar across the first slide, so your first slide can be seen. The only exception to this is if you have a transition or build on your first slide - if this is the case, it will still show a black screen with the logo. Let us know if you have any questions about this feature. Enjoy!

have an option for "make same size" for elements

or at least the ability to enter heights and widths for an element.

    Status: completed

You can set exact heights and widths for any element using the "Transform Toolbox," which is accessible from the "View" menu in the editor. Here is some information about this toolbox: http://www.sliderocket.com/support/qs_2-13_positioning.html.

While we do not have a way to make multiple elements the same size at the moment, the Transform Toolbox will do the trick.

    Drop down menus

    Status: completed

You can add hyperlinks to any element in your slides. Here is some information on adding links: http://www.sliderocket.com/support/qs_2-15_links.html. Does this solve what you are trying to do?

Build In Delay Counter > 99 seconds...NEED MORE TIME

Slides with audio tracks longer than 99 seconds can not build in new text elements on a delay basis after 99 seconds. So on the very busy slide where you want to pace the arrival of new text, you can NOT do this becasue the delay timer max is 99 seconds.

Please make it minutes & seconds!!!

    Status: completed

We have changed this, so you can now set the delay to any 1, 2 or 3 digit number - all the way up to 999 seconds if you like!
