allow for just one offline presentation in Free Edition

I am a 2nd grade teacher and would like to use Slide Rocket in class to teach English, but I do not live in the US and do not have access to T1 or T3 or well implemented broadband connections ( the "broadband" we have is shared among many teachers and administrators). This makes play ba... more

upgrade the offline player to an offline editor

Imagine you're a sales rep on the plane to your customer and urgently need to make some last minute changes to your slides that you're about to present. There's no WiFi and no 3G, so you can't go online. But you cached your presentation before you left the office. Wouldn't it be great if you coul... more

While we maintain a small "Powered by SlideRocket" on our player, you can now customize your email templates with any HTML you choose. You can do this through the "Account" tab, under "Company." Please note that this is a premium feature.

Add ability to embed websites within presentations

The presentations look very good. We would like to use it as ongoing presentation in sports canteen. To include the weather forecast, I would need embedding of websites within the presentation.

cropping tool, photo manipulation (like convert to b & w)

I'd like to crop photos in the system and be able to change them to Black and White or sepia.

    Status: started

Using the new ADJUSTCOLOR effect photos can be turned black and white as well has other color edits. The cropping tool is still being worked on.

it should work on dual monitors (like when you're using a projector) even Powerpoint has that!!

We need to be able to see our different presentations and play button on one screen and watch it come up on another screen without having to show our mouse going around clicking on different presentations ( on the presentation screen) that's unprofessional!

    live audio

Having a built-in option for streaming live audio (at the least, from presenter to the audience, ideally, multi-presenter, and even more ideally, from audience as well [mute-able]) when presenting, would be much appreciated.

programmable api - to allow flash movies to control slides

essentially allow a flash movie to have embedded hyperlinks - these could be generated by the system from the hyperlink menu - rather like the embed code- this would allow you to create specific menu links within a flash file in the presentation.

    Integrate with SlideShare

www.slideshare.com is the leading way for sharing slideshows. If you're not integrating with them - and others such as YouTube and Yahoo SlideRocket won't get the momentum.

SlideRocket lets you publish your presentation as a link and embed your presentation into a blog or web page with the embed code available from SlideRocket's publishing options. More importantly you can decide how secure you want your presentation to be with a number of options.

    Personal Hosting

People should be able to host their pictures/ mp3s/ video/ flash files etc. themselves, and then just link to the source. That way it's not using your resources, and those of us who want to use this program a LOT can.

How come Sliderocket does not allow multiple people to edit a presentation simultaneously? The checkin-checkout mechanism is old-world! One would expect this as a core feature given the fact that this application runs on the web...

include a "magic move" effect from keynote 09.

The magic move functionality in keynote is awesome. I'd love to see this in sliderocket as it allows (with a bit of imagination) a lot of different effects to be performed.

Add an export to SWF or Export To Video so we can make presentations and put them on YouTube direct!

If I could export my presentations to FLV video or some form of video file suitable for the web, that would guarantee I would pay for an upgrade, that would then make Sliderocket a killer app for creating YouTube presentations...

Could you ask santa to bring flv export or video export to Slidero... more
